The contract comes on the heels of several major investments and expansions by NexGen in the region, creating truly expansive global presence with consistently high service standards.

• In 2015, NexGen secured backbone capacity on the Transit Europe-Asia (TEA) terrestrial cable network, which completed a proprietary global circuit that boasts the lowest possible latency for connections between Asia and Europe, with latency times of 164ms between London and Hong Kong.
• Also in 2015, NexGen built a new point of presence at the Equinix TY3 datacenter in Tokyo
• In the same year, worked with iAdvantage to create a Hong Kong point of presence
• In 2016, NexGen partnered with China Telecom on a Shanghai point of presence.
