NexGen Networks Introduces Private Cloud Connectivity Services

NEW YORK, NY – January 27, 2015 NexGen Networks, a leading global provider of ultra high-speed fiber-optic services with a distinctive customer service approach, has announced that it will now offer enterprise clients seamless, secure, high-speed cloud connectivity over private circuits.

“Public cloud computing continues to transform businesses and industries, but performance and security are the limiting factors to its potential. Our private cloud connectivity services will allow customers to connect to all cloud providers using a dedicated, private circuit without traversing the Internet,” says NexGen’s Jeffrey Barth. “In addition to the inherently better security, clients who move to our private cloud services will experience increased network throughput and a more consistent network performance than Internet-based connections, ultimately resulting in a better end-user experience.”

Applications and data in the private cloud do not traverse the internet, so enterprise customers will be able to separate internet traffic from their internal applications, with the isolation from the general public greatly limiting the likelihood of security breaches. In addition, a private cloud implemented on private hardware within a local network is not subject to the limits of a public Internet connection. Businesses can deliver their most critical applications with at the maximum speed and availability.

NexGen’s network services are neutral and will provide clients with a direct connection to any cloud provider that they prefer, including some of the industry’s largest providers like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
