NexGen Networks Augments Its Domestic Network

Upgrade strengthens foundations to accommodate widening footprint

New York, NY, February 1st, 2012 - NexGen Networks has completed an extensive domestic network upgrade, adding reach and bandwidth that will afford Nexgen enhanced, more resilient services to meet the growing needs of an expanding client portfolio. The vastly increased capacity on NexGen’s network backbone will support customer requirements for more bandwidth between commercial centers, major financial exchanges and key data centers around the United States.

According to Nexgen’s James Erickson, “NexGen’s current and prospective domestic clients can continue to be assured of the consistently superior transmission uptime which has provided them a crucial competitive advantage. As the NexGen network has expanded and our services have become more powerful and diverse, we aim to maintain the consistent reliability that has been one of the cornerstones of our business.”

The network augmentation supplements NexGen’s already highly reliable fiber-based low latency infrastructure, which it uses to provide its customers with private ethernet, internet, and transport services. The NexGen Network is backed by operations centers that meticulously monitor and manage the network infrastructure while providing real-time problem diagnosis and resolution. NexGen is registered as a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) in states across the US, and it continues to expand operations around the globe without compromising the standard of excellence established in the New York Metropolitan Area.
