NexGen Networks Enhances Latin American Infrastructure New Point of Presence Sao Paulo Brazil

NexGen Networks, a leading global provider of ultra high-speed fiber-optic services with a distinctive customer service approach, today announced the expansion of its network services in Sao Paulo—the largest financial center in Latin America. The Sao Paulo expansion represents a continued, concerted effort to expand and improve NexGen’s infrastructure in the region, with several recently launched points of presence in Miami, Mexico City, and Sao Paulo last year.

“Sao Paulo is one of the world’s greatest financial centers and the largest in Latin America, and this expansion demonstrates our continued commitment to building a robust infrastructure for clients operating here and throughout Latin America,” says NexGen’s Jeffrey Barth. “The new point of presence complements recent expansions in the vicinity and our subsidiary operations in Chile while also facilitating future growth in the region.”

NexGen’s Sao Paulo POP will provide customers with the fastest route from the US to Brazil, which means a wealth of opportunities for reaching Sao Paulo’s stock exchange (one of the top 20 stock exchanges in the world by market capitalization), the Latin American headquarters of almost every major multinational corporation that operates in the region, and the city’s nearly 12 million residents. Sao Paulo is also Brazil’s central point of internet traffic exchange, making it vital to Brazil’s online population of around 100 million people.

NexGen’s expansion into such an important regional and global market hub is therefore another important milestone for its operations in the region, improving the efficiency and resilience of other infrastructure like its subsidiary NexGen Chile Limitadas and also allowing for easy deployment of future services within Latin America and Brazil.
