NexGen Networks Expands France New Fiber Facilities

NexGen Networks, the premier provider of fiber optic-based network solutions to the world’s top financial services firms and global enterprises, has announced a recent build of fiber facilities in the Paris France. The new expansion will provide NexGen and its client’s direct access to network infrastructure in France, the fifth largest economy in the world.

“As data demands continue to grow for our enterprise clients, enhancements and expansions like this are crucial for maintaining the highest standard of service. NexGen sustains those standards for speed, reliability, and security while simultaneously extending our reach within Europe,” says Edward Lawson, SVP of Business Development at NexGen Networks. “In addition to being at the heart of France’s fiber backbone, this new expansion meets customer demand for connections to landing points of transatlantic cable infrastructure.”

NexGen’s new expansion boasts 100G service into and out of France through highly secure, scalable infrastructure. Our expansion will be located 10 km from Paris city centre, 16km from Charles de Gaulle Airport, and 1km from the Paris ring road. This expansion will allow us service France’s busiest data centre hub locations, with communities of interest for various business sectors, including finance and digital media. These communities help create fertile ground for cost-cutting and revenue-boosting opportunities.

The expansion demonstrates a continued commitment to improving connectivity to critical centers of commerce in Europe and throughout the world. In recent years, NexGen has greatly expanded its presence in the UK and Germany, while also acquiring backbone capacity on the Transit Europe-Asia (TEA) Terrestrial Cable Network, which provides the lowest possible latency connections between Europe and Asia.
